How to start a fire with Flint and Steel Kit:

Tear small 1″ piece of charcloth off of piece provided, and place on top of Flint. While holding flint and charcloth vertically, strike down with striker on edge of flint. Sparks come from steel being sheared off. Place glowing charcloth in prepared tinder bundle to start fire.
